How would you rate yourself on how well you handle stress?
How does normal day-to-day stress develop into “chronic stress”?
In today’s modern world, we have constant daily demands that can lead some of us to feeling more stressed, both psychologically and physically. For this talk, we’ll discuss the concept of human resilience and grit in relationship to stress, and we’ll dive into stress and its connection to the nervous system, immune function, inflammation, and chronic disease.
Along with other data points, heart rate variability has grown in popularity as a valuable window into your current health and give predictions about future health. Leave this talk with ways to measure stress, coping strategies to deal with stress, and how you can take this information to track your health.
